Ride with Passion, Win with Purpose. 

   Mary Rose Anderson combines her love of horses with a talent for teaching. She believes in the empowering potential of horseback riding, and enjoys helping others reach their horsemanship goals.Her true passion has always been the American Quarter Horse. However, over the years Mary Rose has dedicated herself to working with all breeds. 

   Mary Rose offers training and lessons at her ranch in Norco, California, also known as Horsetown, USA. Her Horsemanship program specializes in Colt Starting and Extreme Cowboy Racing, as well as Ranch Versatility which includes: Reining, Ranch Riding, Halter/Confirmation, Ranch Cutting, Ranch Roping, and Ranch Trail. Other areas she and her students have excelled in are Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Gymkhana, Ranch Sorting, Western & Cowboy Dressage, and Jr. & High School Rodeo events.

A LITTLE ABOUT MR...

   Mary Rose Anderson grew up in Orange Park Acres, an equestrian community located in the heart of Orange County, California. She's the youngest of her family of horse enthusiasts.  When Mary Rose and her family weren't showing at competitions they would be out enjoying a trail ride. The Anderson were heavily active in riding with various clubs and organizations in southern California. They dedicated their spare time to help support their local and surrounding communities keep horses and rural living alive.
   Mary Rose began showing at a very age and fostered her horsemanship through the 4-H Club till she was 17. She was a re-elected board member, Jr. and a Teen and Adult Leader the Horse and Pony Project. Mary Rose practiced weekly and studied each year to compete at Horse Mastership at Orange County Fair. She completed level 3 which includes Showmanship, Western Pleasure, Equitation, and Trail.
   Mary Rose spent her weekends competing in Gymkhana and Team Sorting, and camping with her family and friends. She earned several High and Reserve Point Championships during high school.

   She began her training and coaching  career in 2005 at the Ranch Del Rio Stables, previously in Anaheim, CA. Mary Rose is now currently located in Norco, CA, Horse Town of USA.
